Abstract:
Provided is a rotary type fluid machine, in which an annular actuator chamber
(5) is constituted to include an annular wall portion (3a) on one side of a rotor
(3) in the axial direction of a rotating shaft (4), and an annular groove (20b)
so formed in a housing (2) as to confront the annular wall portion (3a). A reciprocating
partition member (6) is so mounted on the housing as to move in parallel with the
axis of the rotating shaft so that it can move to a protruded position to partition
the annular actuation chamber and to a retracted position, at which it is retracted
from the annular actuation chamber. This reciprocating partition member is
urged toward the protruded position by an urging mechanism (7). An arcuate partition
member (8) for partitioning the annular actuation chamber transversely is formed
in the rotor.
