Abstract:
In the rotary type powder compression molding machine of the invention, a rotary disk is rotatably disposed in a frame through a vertical shaft and is provided with a mortar having a mortar hole, with upper and lower pounders being vertically slidably held above and below the mortar. The individual pounder tips, inserted in the mortar, are passed between the upper and lower rolls to move and press the upper and lower pounders toward each other, whereby the powders filled in the mortar is compression-molded by the upper and lower pounders. In this rotary type powder compression molding machine, the upper and lower pounders are respectively provided with pounder heads at the ends opposite to the pounder tips at which they are inserted in the mortar, and shock absorption members having self-lubricability. A shock absorption mechanism for absorbing shocks to the pounders during contact is installed between the pounder head of the upper pounder and the upper roll and/or between the pounder head of the lower pounder and the lower roll.
