Abstract:
A rotary vacuum pump has a rotor (4) rotatably supported on a base (3), a stator (43) disposed around the rotor (4), an outer casing (2) in which the stator (43) is received, fastening devices (71) for fastening together a flange surface (31) of the base (3) and a first flange surface (27) of the outer casing (2), a generally circular hollow cylindrical inner casing (10) disposed in a circumferential gap between the stator (43) and the outer casing (2), a ring member (11) engaged with the inner peripheral surface of the inner casing (10), a seal member (12) interposed between one end surface of the ring member (11) and the flange surface (31) of the base (3), and an elastic body (13) for elastically supporting the inner casing (10) between the other end surface of the ring member (11) and the second flange surface (23) of the outer casing (2).
