Abstract:
A rotary valve device is provided with: a casing provided with a fluid passage; a rotator which is rotatably arranged in the casing and controls the circulation state of a fluid flowing in the fluid passage by rotation; a drive mechanism which rotates the rotator; and a lock mechanism which transmits a rotative force to the rotator from the drive mechanism and prohibits the rotation of the rotator when the drive mechanism is not driving the rotation.
