Abstract:
This invention relates to a rotary valve having an improved sealability and constructed so that a rotor (20) provided in a circumferential surface portion (21) thereof with recesses (22, 22a, 22b, 22c) is rotated around a rotor shaft (30) in a casing (10). When either one of inlet port (11) and outlet port (12) formed in the casing communicates with a recess in the rotor with the center of the mouth portion of the former aligned with that of a mouth portion of the latter, the mouth portion of the other is closed with a circumferential surface portion of the rotor.
