Abstract:
Provided is a valve which has few limitations when connecting an external channel, has low fluid pressure loss, and can selectively cause a fluid to flow between a plurality of ports. This rotary valve is equipped with: a housing; a plurality of rotors housed in the housing; a linking mechanism for linking the plurality of rotors; and an electric actuator. The rotors include: a drive-side rotor for driving and rotating as a result of the electric actuator; and a driven-side rotor to which driving/rotating force is transmitted via the linking mechanism from the drive-side rotor. The linking mechanism has a contacting part and a contacted part, and is capable of selecting, as a result of a selection in the direction of rotation of the drive-side rotor, between: a transmission state in which a driving/rotating force is transmitted to the driven-side rotor by contacting the contacting part to the contacted part; and a non-transmission state in which the driving/rotating force is not transmitted to the driven-side rotor by separating the contacting part from the contacted part.
