Abstract:
Provided is a fixing tool for easily fixing a plurality of workpieces in a concentric circle at the time of performing a curve forming process on a plurality of pieces of lumber at the same time, so that the process using a lathe can be effectively and precisely performed.
The tool is composed of a shaft portion and two fixing portions comprising circular groove portions with their centers respectively defined by the shaft portion, and the groove portions are opposed to each other. A plurality of workpieces are disposed in the grooves, both fixing portions are moved closer by a fastening means, and both of the groove portions have widths that become smaller toward the groove bottom surfaces. Thereby, in the fastening step, the plurality of workpieces disposed in the groove portions are fixed in a concentric circle in a manner such that the workpieces become embraced in the groove portions as the widths of the groove portions are reduced.
