Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rotatable camera device capable of efficiently moving a camera module to an initial position in an initializing operation. The rotatable camera device according to the present invention comprises: a camera module fixedly mounted on a mounting plate; a motor for providing power for rotating the mounting plate; a motor driver for rotating the motor, which is supplied with power, at a predetermined angle; a sensor sensitive unit mounted around the mounting plate to rotate together with the mounting plate, and formed so that a mounting radius from a reference point formed in an imaging direction of the camera module to a front end extending from the reference point has a mounting radius corresponding to a half of the rotation radius of the camera module; a sensor for detecting the position of the sensor sensitive unit; and a control unit, wherein in the power-on or the initialization operation, the control unit controls the motor driver (a) to rotate the mounting plate in a mounting direction of the sensor sensitive unit to the position of the reference point, when the sensor detects the sensor sensitive unit, and (b) to rotate the mounting plate in a direction in which the sensor sensitive unit is not mounted to the position of the reference point, when the sensor cannot detect the sensor sensitive unit. According to the present invention, a moving distance of the camera module can be minimized and moved to a reference position at the time of power turning on or initializing, the initialization operation can be performed quickly, and there is an effect in which physical damage of the wiring can be prevented during the initialization operation.
