Abstract:
A rotatable electric iron and a hanging ironing machine having the same are disclosed. The rotatable electric iron comprises a main body (1,180) having an electric heater, and the main body (1,180) is provided with a shell (3,100) thereon. A rotating body (2,900) rotatably connects the main body (1,180) and a handle, and a restricting mechanism for restricting the rotating range and an elastic positioning mechanism for locking the rotating angular position are provided between the main body (1,180) and the handle. Under the state that the relative position between the handle and the main body (1,180) is locked, the electric iron may be used as a steam iron; once the main body (1,180) is equipped with a brush lid (8,190), the handle can rotate relative to the main body (1,180), therefore the electric iron may be used as a steam brush. Consequently, it can solve the problem resulting from the fixed position between the handle and the main body (1,180), that is, the operating mode is single and it is difficult to satisfy the demands of flexible ironing.
