A multi-link stretching mechanism for an electric movable sofa, with slower leg lifting and back laying actions of the sofa and higher comfortability in use, comprises a foot plate support (v), a foot rest (w), a backrest piece (m), a stretching mechanism for driving the foot plate support (v) and the foot rest (w) to move towards the front and upper direction and then driving the backrest piece (m) to tip backwards, and an electrical driving mechanism (k) for driving the stretching mechanism. The electrical driving mechanism (k) is connected between an upper rotating rod and a lower rotating rod (s, j) and is used for controlling the upper rotating rod and the lower rotating rod (s, j) to rotate relatively and expanding the space therebetween thus driving the stretching mechanism, so as to drive the foot plate support (v) and the foot rest (w) to move towards the front and upper direction and then drive the backrest piece (m) to tip backwards. Hence, the leg lifting and back laying actions of the sofa are slower in speed and stable, so that the comfortability in use is higher.
