Title:
ROTATING ANODE FOR X-RAY TUBE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1994/007256
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A rotating anode for an X-ray tube comprises a disk (1) of a heavy metal which is connected to a graphite sublayer (6) by soldering. The sublayer (6) is provided with through openings (7), each of them being located against the corresponding blind opening (5) in the disk (1). In the opening (7) of the sublayer (6) are soldered thin-walled sleeves (10) whose penetration depth in the body of the disk exceeds the thickness of the bottom of the sleeve. The reliability of functioning of the anode is increased due to the relaxation of a part of the thermal stress of the soldered joint by the sleeves.
