Title:
ROTATING BODY FOR SCRATCH DEFIBRATION AND FLOCCULENT SUBSTANCE PRODUCTION METHOD USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/013195
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A rotating body whose blades directly engaging in defibration have excellent mechanism durability and in which a damaged blade can be easily replaced. The rotating body has ridge bodies on its surface and used for a device for producing a flocculent substance by scratching and defibrating a continuous body to be defibrated. A scratching and defibrating section of the rotating body is constructed from an aggregate of disks each having saw-tooth-like ridge bodies having a rake angle. The saw-tooth-like ridge bodies are helically arranged on the surface of the rotating body in the direction of its rotation axis or, alternatively, the disks are arranged tilted relative to the rotation axis of the rotating body.
