Abstract:
A rotating body (10) constitutes a shaft, the entirety of which is formed integrally from cast metal, and is provided with a cast hole (11) that extends in the axial direction. The rotating body (10) is provided, on the outer surface (10A) thereof, with a set of openings (11B, 11C) that are provided at two locations separated in the axial direction. The rotating body (10) is provided, on the outer surface (10A) of an intermediate part (10D) thereof, with an attachment part (12) to which a rotor (90A) is attached. The rotating body (10) is provided with a plate-shaped heat transfer fin (13) that protrudes from the casting surface (11A) of the cast hole (11) in the intermediate part (10D), said heat transfer fin (13) improving the efficiency of heat transfer via the casting surface (11A).
