Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide a rotating connector whereby a rotation lock is reliably locked in a rotation reference location when assembled, and the rotation lock is unlocked when a rotation operation tool is inserted. A rotating connector (101) comprises a rotating case (K1) which rotates along with rotation of a rotation operation tool, a fixed case (R1) which supports the rotating case (K1) to be freely rotatable, and a flexible cable (FC) which can be wound or unwound. A first engagement member (2), which moves between a first engagement location (KP1) and a first disengagement location (TP1) in response to the rotation of the rotating case (K1), is disposed in either the rotating case (K1) or the fixed case (R1), and a second engagement member (5), which moves between a second engagement location (KP2) and a second disengagement location (TP2) by the insertion of the rotation operation tool, is disposed in the other case. In the rotation reference location, the first engagement member (2) which is in the first engagement location (KP1) and the second engagement member (5) which is in the second engagement location (KP2) engage.
