Abstract:

Provided are a rotating electric machine and a coil and coil device used in the rotating electric machine that are capable of enhancing performance. A rotating electric machine 1 is provided with: a stator 3 having an iron core part 7 having a main body part 10 having a round outer shape and a plurality of cores 12 that are provided along the circumferential direction of the circumferential surface 10a of the main body part 10 at a prescribed interval and protrude from the same, and coils 9 provided on the cores 12; and a rotor 5 provided so as to be freely rotatable. The coils 9 are each provided with a coil part 20 formed in a spiral shape from a conductive member 21 having conductivity and terminal parts 22a, 22b that are connected to both ends of the coil part 20. The width of the coil part 20 continuously increases from one side to the other side in the direction of an axis L of the coil part 20, and an electrically insulating insulation layer 24 is provided on the surface 21a of the conductive member 21 of the coil part 20.
