Abstract:
In the present invention, even if the supply of power to an inverter control device is cut off, fail-safe control is appropriately carried out on a rotating electric drive device provided with an inverter. A rotating electric machine control device 1 for controlling a rotating electric drive device provided with an inverter 10 that is connected to a first DC power supply 2H and an AC rotating electric machine 80 and is for converting power is provided with an inverter control device 20 that operates using power supplied from a second DC power supply 2L, makes a switching element 3 constituting the inverter 10 carry out a switching operation, and carries out fail-safe control. In the rotating electric machine control device 1, if the power supplied from the second DC power supply 2L to the inverter control device 20 decreases, fail-safe control is carried out through the supply of power to the inverter control device 20 from a backup power supply 2B having the first DC power supply 2H as the power source thereof.
