Abstract:
An armature winding (700) for a rotating electric machine has two electrically-independent winding systems. An armature winding (701) of the first system is disposed closer, in the radial direction, to a field magneton than an armature winding (702) of the second system, and a current control device (270) that controls the current to the armature winding of the first system and the armature winding of the second system is included. The current control device takes into consideration differences in the flux waveform from the field magneton, said differences being based on differences in the radial-direction distances to the field magneton, and causes the waveform of the current to the armature winding of the first system to differ from the waveform of the current to the armature winding of the second system.
