Abstract:
This rotating electric machine is provided with: a stator having a plurality of segment conductors to which an insulating coat is applied and a core formed with a plurality of slots, wherein the plurality of segment conductors are disposed in the plurality of slots; and a mover disposed on the inner circumferential side of the stator. The segment conductors have a linear portion disposed inside the slots of the stator and a terminal portion disposed outside the slots, wherein the width dimension of the segment conductors continuously or gradually becomes smaller from the linear portion to the terminal portion.
