Title:
ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/132288
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In order to solve the problem of a stator of a conventional rotating electric machine such as an electric motor or an electric generator, that is, the problem that the tooth width of a central part in which a recessed section is present decreases annularly and consequently the influence of cogging torque and torque ripple increases, thereby leading to a decrease in the efficiency of an electric machine, at least one recessed section (1a) having an opening such that the width of a tooth (1) is narrowed is formed at a specific position in the radial direction of a stator core (2) in each of both side surfaces of the tooth (1), the opening extending along the axial direction of the stator core (2), and the recessed sections (1a) are formed at positions different from each other in both the side surfaces of the tooth (1).
