Abstract:
A rotating electric machine (100) is provided with: an oil receiving portion (23) having an opening portion (23a) facing an injection hole (22) for injecting an ATF into the atmospheric pressure inside a housing; and an oil reservoir (15) being in communication with the oil receiving portion (23) via a through-hole (24) provided in a wall portion (2a) and being in communication with the rotor cooling oil flow path of a shaft (6) via a cooling oil introduction hole (25) provided in the wall portion (2a). The ATF flowing out from the oil receiving portion (23) runs down the inside surface of the wall portion (2a) of a second housing (2) by gravity and reaches a bearing (5), thereby enabling an ATF supply path for cooling the rotor to be shared with that for lubricating the bearing, which enables the ATF supply path to be simplified.
