Abstract:
A rotating electric machine (100) is provided with: an electrically driven unit (10) having an armature winding (12b) provided on a stator (12) and a field winding (13b) provided on a rotor (13); and a control unit (20) integrated with the electrically driven unit and controlling the electrically driven unit. The control unit is provided with: an armature switching element (51) for switching between energization and energization interruption of the armature winding; a control board (70) for performing energization control of the armature winding using the armature switching element; and a heat sink (40) internally having a circulation path (43) through which a refrigerant circulates and cooling the armature switching element. In the axial direction of a rotating shaft (14) to which the rotor is fixed, the heat sink is disposed on the opposite side to the electrically driven unit across the control board.
