Abstract:
The present invention provides a rotating electric machine that can suppress expansion of the outer diameter of the rotating electric machine by mounting a power module and a heat sink. This rotating electric machine (100) comprises: a power module (160) provided with power semiconductor elements (166H, 166L) that turn on and off electrical conduction to a winding (32); a heat sink (110) that is thermally connected to a heat sink fixing surface (16) of the power module (160); and a refrigerant channel (180) through which refrigerant flows in a placement space of the heat sink (110), wherein the heat sink fixing surface (16) of the power module (160) extends in a radial direction (Y) and an axial direction (Z), and in the refrigerant channel (180), refrigerant flows in the radial direction (Y) in the placement space of the heat sink (110).
