Abstract:
[Problem] To enable a rotating electrical machine to share a frame while flexibly responding to a variety of needs by enabling the position of openings for threading cables etc. to be freely determined. [Solution] This rotating electrical machine is provided with: a frame (13) that is integrally formed by casting; a stator (12) disposed on the inner periphery of the frame (13); and a rotor (11) disposed on the outer periphery of a shaft (10), facing the inner periphery of the stator (12) with a gap therebetween. The frame (13) has a shape that is roughly symmetrically relative to a cut plane (P) that cuts the frame (13) in the axial direction.
