Abstract:
[Problem] To simplify the structure of a rotating electrical machine. [Solution] This rotating electrical machine is provided with: a frame (13) wherein a flow passage (135), through which a coolant flows, is formed; a stator (12) disposed on the inner periphery of the frame (13); and a winding switching circuit (20) disposed on the outer periphery of the frame (13). The flow passage (135) comprises: a first flow passage section (135a), the inner periphery of which faces the stator (12), and the outer periphery of which faces the winding switching circuit (20); and a second flow passage (135b) formed in such a manner as to surround the stator (12) in the circumferential direction. The first flow passage (135a) cools both the stator (12) and the winding switching circuit (20).
