Title:
ROTATING ELECTRICAL MACHINE FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/003065
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a rotating electrical machine for vehicle, which can minimize the occurrence of pressure fluctuations at the front edge side of a cooling fan, which fluctuations are exacerbated by air having turbulence flowing into the cooling fan, and which can reduce fan noise. This rotating electrical machine for vehicle is provided with a cooling fan (30) having a flat ring-shaped attachment base plate (31) affixed to a rotor, and a plurality of fan blades (32) respectively arrayed in the circumferential direction and projecting upright from the surface of the attachment base plate (31). The fan blades (32) have an S-shaped cross section which undergoes gradual displacement frontward in the rotation direction (34) from the rear edge constituting the outside peripheral edge towards the front edge constituting the inside peripheral edge, and in which a convex arcuate shape at the rear edge side frontward in the rotation direction (34), and a convex arcuate shape at the front edge side rearward in the rotation direction (34), smoothly connect.
