Abstract:

Provided is a rotating electrical machine with embedded permanent magnet such that the rotor can be protected from breaking during the manufacture of the rotor. A rotor (3) in which the outer periphery of the rotor communicates with embedded magnet slots (35a, 35b) is provided in a permanent magnet embedded motor in which one pole is constituted by two permanent magnets (34a, 34b) and multi-pole permanent magnets are embedded in a rotor. The rotor (3) has a q-axis projection (37) projecting in a direction away from the rotation center of the rotor between mutually adjacent poles. The embedded magnet slots (35a, 35b) are arranged to form a reverse V shape. An outer peripheral edge (33) outside the permanent magnets (34a, 34b) has a radius of curvature that is smaller than the distance from a rotation center axis (4a) to the outermost periphery of the rotor. A round intermediate plate (300) having an outer diameter larger than the outer diameter of a rotor steel plate is provided in the middle of the rotor (3) in the rotation axis direction.
