Abstract:
A rotating electrical machine includes: a rotatable rotor shaft (16) which includes an intermediate passage as an internally-provided shaft-side refrigerant passage; a rotor (18) which has a core-side refrigerant passage (62) as a plurality of rotor-side refrigerant passages provided axially to communicate with the intermediate passage at a plurality of positions in the circumferential direction, and is fixed to the rotor shaft (16) on the outer diameter side; and a stator disposed so as to face the rotor (18) on the outer diameter side. The rotor (18) includes an annular refrigerant passage (52) which is annularly provided at least partially in an axial direction around a rotary central axis of the rotor (18) so as to communicate with each core-side refrigerant passage (62) as a rotor-side refrigerant passage, and which circulates in the inside thereof a refrigerant liquid in the circumferential direction.
