Abstract:
Provided is a rotating electrical machine having high efficiency and a large rotational force. The rotating electrical machine according to the present invention includes a stator, and a rotor that rotates around a rotary shaft by receiving a magnetic field applied from the stator. The rotor interacts with the stator at both poles, and is constituted by multiple rotor elements which are arranged apart from each other in the rotary shaft direction and rotate around the common rotary shaft with a prescribed phase difference maintained in the rotation direction. The stator is characterized in that the number of poles (P) satisfies the below-described formula (1). Such a configuration allows torque to be generated at both poles of the rotor, thereby dramatically increasing the rotational force. P = 2 ×(2n − 1) (n: natural number) ⋅⋅⋅ Formula (1)
