Abstract:
Disclosed is a rotating electrical machine which is provided with a cooling structure that cools a stator and a rotor by circulating a cooling gas. In the rotating electrical machine, a gas cooler is disposed on one area at the top or bottom or on the side of the side surface of a casing that houses the stator and rotor, and a heat insulating section that prevents heat transfer is provided between the casing and a low-temperature cooling gas flow channel in the gas cooler.
