Abstract:
A motor generator is provided with three types of cooling through-hole portions 112 to 114. The cooling through-hole portions 112 to 114 are three types of hole portions which penetrate through coil end portions 111f, 111g in the radial direction, and which have different volumes for allowing a liquid refrigerant R to flow. The larger the volume of the hole portion, the greater the amount of the liquid refrigerant R that flows. The cooling performance is therefore increased. In the motor generator, the three types of cooling through-hole portions 112 to 114 are disposed as appropriate in accordance with the temperature increase characteristics of the coil end portions 111f, 111g. In this way, the motor generator can allow an amount of the liquid refrigerant R that is appropriate for different temperature increases to flow through the coil end portions 111f, 111g. Therefore the motor generator can cool the coil end portions 111f, 111g uniformly by means of the liquid refrigerant R.
