Abstract:
A case (3) that accommodates a stator (1) and a rotor (2) comprises: a cylindrical inner case portion (31) having a fitting portion (311) that fits with a stator outer circumferential surface (11a); and a cylindrical outer case portion (32) disposed to cover an inner-case outer peripheral surface (31a). A cooling water passage (4) through which cooling water flows is formed between the inner-case outer circumferential surface (31a) and an outer-case inner circumferential surface (32a). The inner case portion (31) further comprises an axially protruding portion (312) that protrudes from the fitting portion (311) in an axial direction (L), and is disposed to cover at least an upper side of a coil end portion (13). The axially protruding portion (312) has, at a location facing the coil end portion (13) from above, a supply hole (5) for supplying oil toward the coil end portion (13), and the outer case portion (32) has an oil supply passage (6) for supplying the oil to the supply hole (5).
