Background of the invention

One of the major impacts of advancement in science and technology has been the reduction in physical effort required for our day to day activities. For example, manual effort required to clean the clothes is much less when we use washing machines as compared to washing by hand. With vehicles, physical effort required to cover a distance has reduced significantly. We even now have home cleaning machines which are reducing the manual effort required to keep the houses clean. With our economies becoming more and more knowledge-driven the quantity of manual work has been reducing. In increasing number, we are spending more and more time on a desk than in the field. All this has certainly added to our comfort but has resulted in reduced physical activity.

To compensate for the lack of physical workout during household or professional work, people are moving towards increasing usage of running, sports, gymnasiums, general exercising, and Yoga. People are also using specific devices meant for helping them to exercise in order to enhance and improve their fitness. Popular Devices

- Treadmill: A device used for exercise, consisting of a continuous moving belt on which to walk or run

-Stationary Bicycle: A device with saddle, pedals, and some form of handlebars arranged on a bicycle but used as exercise equipment rather than transportation -Cross Trainer: Stationary exercise machine used to simulate stair climbing, walking, or running -Indoor Rower or Rowing Machine: A machine used to simulate the action of watercraft rowing for the purpose of exercise or training for rowing. One common thread among all these devices is that they have been inspired by aspects which were being used for some utility and not fitness.

For instance, a stationary bicycle simply replicates the motion of cycling except it is not being used for transport and for fitness only. Similarly, Indoor Rower or Rowing machine takes its inspiration from rowing boats.

The present invention as oppose to prior art provides the exercise equipment which is comfortable and easy to use and also serves the other purposes when not use for physical exercising.

Object of the invention The present invention objects to provide exercise equipment for engaging in physical activity along with comfort and ease of use in current surrounding of the user.

The present invention is best understood with the help of examples: Example 1 :

In the working of the present invention, the user with his both hands or any one hand can start rotating the top plate of the exercising equipment by holding the handle at the periphery of the top plate according to the intensity of the exercise adjusted. The user first tunes the intensity or the force for rotating the top plate by adjusting the resistance knob which controls the ease of rotation of the top plate with the handle. The braking material attached to the resistance knob creates a break or friction to the speedy rotation of the top plate thus managing the force required to rotate the plate by the user. The rotation of the top plate with the hand facilitates the physical activity of the user wherein the user can carry out this exercise at house or work place where this equipment is placed.

Example 2: The user can place this rotation in any place like home, work place etc. When not used for exercise by the user, the user can tighten the brake activating knob which will prevent any rotation of the top plate thus making it steady and immovable. With such adjustments made, the user can now use the same rotating equipment as the round table for any use in the house or at work place accordingly.

Example 3 : The rotating exercise equipment can have various variations in the plates and legs along with adjustable resistance mechanism. In one configuration, the top plate and the bottom plate can be of same diameter where the top plate contains a handle which has to be moved in order to move the top plate. The exercise equipment can have any number of legs i.e. either one, two, three, four, five or six.

Example 4:

The rotating exercise equipment can have another configuration, i.e. the top plate can be of bigger diameter than the bottom plate, where the top plate contains a handle which has to be moved during exercising. The exercise equipment comes along with adjustable resistance mechanism. The exercise equipment can have any number of legs i.e. either one, two, three, four, five or six.
