Title:
ROTATING JIG FOR BATTERY CELLS, AND METHOD FOR WELDING BATTERY CELLS USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/008775
Kind Code:
A2
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rotating jig for battery cells, which produces battery cells in a variety of sizes through sequential processes. The rotating jig comprises: a main body having a hexahedral structure, on the bottom of which a rotating rod is mounted, wherein each side of the main body is provided with a mounting frame the size of which corresponds to a battery cell; a die which is connected to the rotating rod, and which manually rotates or rotates by means of a rotation motor; and a support member arranged on the die so as to support the mounting frame of the main body and the battery cell placed in the mounting frame. The rotating rod rotates with the battery cell mounted on the side surface of the main body, such that a portion of the battery cell can be resistance-welded by a welding rod arranged above the battery cell.
