Abstract:
Provided are a low-noise rotating machine and a rotating machine driving system capable of stable rotation at high speed when driving a six-phase rotating machine wherein three-level inverters are connected in parallel. The rotating machine driving system has a stator formed by storing windings in a plurality of slots and drives a rotating machine equipped with two groups of Y-connected three-phase windings. The rotating machine driving system is provided with: the rotating machine, wherein the neutral points of the two groups of Y-connected three-phase windings are mutually insulated, each phase of each group, after being wound from a first slot position, is wound from a second slot position over a jumper wire to arrive at the respective neutral point, and the two groups of windings at the beginning and end of each jumper wire are disposed so as to be axially symmetrical to each other; a rectifier circuit connected to an AC power source; and two groups of three-level inverters which are connected to the rectifier circuit and provide each AC phase with three-level AC output. The two groups of three-level inverters supply power to each of the three-phase windings of each group in the rotating machine, and windings of the same phases in the two groups of Y-connected three-phase windings are supplied with currents of mutually opposite phases.
