Abstract:
A rotating machine (1A) is provided with: a rotating body (4) that rotates about a center axis (C); and a casing (10) that houses at least a part of the rotating body (4). The casing (10) is provided with: a main section (16L) formed of a metal material; and a high-porosity section (16H), which is formed of the material that is same as that of the main section (16L), and which has a porosity that is higher than that of the main section (16L).
