Abstract:
The present invention suppresses the deterioration of the life of a rotation detection sensor due to temperature rise caused by the heat generation of a semiconductor module. The motor of the present invention comprises: a motor housing; an electrical component housing; an electrical component cover for sealing the opening of the electrical component housing; and an electrical component refrigerant flow path through which a refrigerant for cooling the electrical component housing or the semiconductor module within the electrical component cover flows and a part of which in a refrigerant flow direction is disposed in the electrical component housing. The motor also comprises a rotation detection sensor for detecting the rotation of the rotor and a sensor housing casing 113b disposed inside the electrical component housing and housing the rotation detection sensor. The electrical component refrigerant flow path (flow path box portion 142c) is disposed in the form of being interposed between the semiconductor module and the sensor housing casing 113b.
