Abstract:
Disclosed is a rotating tool for welding an inner corner excellent in economic efficiency and an inner corner welding method using the rotating tool for welding the inner corner. The rotating tool (1) for welding the inner corner which performs friction stir welding of the inner corner section generated by causing a pair of metal members to butt against each other is characterized in that the rotating tool (1) comprises a stirring pin (3) inserted into the inner corner section and a base block (2) which supports the stirring pin (3) and is caused to butt against the metal members respectively, that the base block (2) comprises a body (4) tapered in width toward the tip and a shoulder (5) formed at the tip of the body (4) attachably and detachably, and that the stirring pin (3) penetrates the body (4) and the shoulder (5).
