Abstract:
A vend mechanism for transferring articles (14) to a receiving area. There is a plurality of conveyors (30) radially arranged on each of a plurality of spaced plates (42). A first drive mechanism (74) to rotate an assembly of plates (62) so that a selected column of conveyors (30) is in alignment with the receiving area, and for each plate (62), a second drive mechanism (78) is provider to operate the conveyor (30) that is in the transferring orientation.
