Abstract:
A rotation angle detection device having a magnet (110) that can be attached to
a rotation body (Sh) as a target for rotation measurement so as to rotate with the
rotation body (Sh) and whose magnetic flux density around the rotation body (Sh)
changes with rotation of the rotation body (Sh), and the rotation angle detection
device also having detection elements ((150)(151-154)) that detect a change
in magnetic flux density of the magnet (110). The detection elements (150) are
a pair of detection elements having the same characteristics, and the pair of
detection elements (150) are arranged at different positions in the circumferential
direction relative to the center of rotation of the rotation body (Sh) so that
the detection elements (150) are equidistantly spaced from the rotation center.
Detection characteristics are not affected even if the rotation angle detection
device is used in an environment where temperature changes rapidly.
