Abstract:
This rotation angle detection device has a lever, a cylindrical section, a magnet, and a magnetic detection element. The lever includes a base section, and a shaft section, which protrudes in the rotating axis direction of the base section, and which is integrated with the base section. The cylindrical section includes a first end, which is close to or in contact with the base section, and a second end, which is positioned further from the base section than the first end, said second end being on the side opposite to the first end. The shaft section is inserted into the cylindrical section, and the shaft section is rotatably supported. The magnet is attached to an end portion of the shaft section. The magnetic detection element is disposed to face the magnet with a predetermined space therebetween.
