Abstract:
A torque angle sensor (25) corresponding to a rotation angle detection device comprises a case (40) having: a case base (41) to which a main driving gear (35) and a first driven gear (31) are mounted; and a case protrusion (45) that protrudes from the case base (41) in the thickness direction of a substrate (60), corresponding to the axial direction (Da) of the main driving gear (35). The case protrusion (45) includes a case protrusion end surface (451) that is the end surface of the case protrusion (45) on the opposite side to the case base (41). Further formed are: a substrate space (453) demarcated by the case base (41) and the case protrusion (45); and a substrate opening (454) that is a space above the case protrusion end surface (451), that is open toward the thickness direction of the substrate (60), and that is connected to the substrate space (453). Still further, the substrate (60) is inserted into the substrate space (453) via the substrate opening (454).
