Abstract:
Provided is a rotation angle measurement device whereby it is possible to reduce a decline in precision in measurement of a rotation angle owing to temperature changes and/or elapsed time, and whereby it is possible to reduce a degradation in measurement precision of the rotation angle owing to attachment error in an installation location of a magnetic field angle measurement-type magnetic sensor. A first yoke and a second yoke, which are configured of magnetic bodies comprising yoke protrusions in at least one of the yokes, are disposed upon a rotatable rotation body. A magnetic flux supply body, which is capable of supplying a magnetic flux, is installed in an outer lateral face of the rotating body, and a magnetic field angle measurement-type magnetic sensor, which outputs a signal corresponding to a magnetic field angle, is installed in an outer lateral face of the yoke protrusions. Thus, even in a site which is not Z=0mm (a reference point), the effect which broad magnetic force lines radiating from a magnet have on a magnetic field angle measurement-type magnetic sensor is alleviated, and it is possible to reduce degradation in rotation angle measurement precision owing to attachment error in an installation location of the magnetic sensor.
