Abstract:
A rotation control apparatus that governs the speed of a rotor (103), wherein a phase difference compensation means (118) outputs a phase difference compensation signal (119) acoording to the phase difference between a rotation signal of the rotor (103) and a target signal, while a frequency difference compensation means (114) outputs a frequency difference compensation signal (115) according to the frequency difference between these signals. Based on these difference compensation signals, the rotor (103) is brake-controled. The use of the phase difference compensation signal (119) enables a PLL control to be realized, which assures a rotation control with a stable and quick response by pulling the rotation into the lock range. Further, by using the frequency difference compensation signal (115), the rotational speed of the rotor (103), even when it is largely deviated from the target signal, can be quickly pulled into the lock range, allowing control with a good response also at the startup of rotation of the rotor (103).
