Abstract:
Disclosed is a rotation detecting apparatus, which has a new structure, and achieves both improved water resistance of a rotation detecting sensor and reduction of the size of the whole apparatus.
The rotation detecting sensor (122) disposed by being housed in an inner space (80) covered with a core metal (66) is supported by means of the core metal (66). An external conductive wire (130) electrically connected with a lead wire (126) extending from the detecting section (124) of the rotation detecting sensor (122) is led out to the outside from an insertion hole (72) formed in the core metal (66). A sealing member (152) adhered on the outer circumferential surface of the external conductive wire (130) is fitted in the insertion hole (72) formed in the core metal (66).
