Abstract:
In order to prevent backlash of internal components incorporated inside a housing even under a large axial load, this rotation transmission device is provided with: a two-way clutch (10) provided between an input shaft (1) and an output shaft (2); an electromagnetic clutch (60) arranged on the other side in the axial direction for controlling the two-way clutch (10); a housing cover (3) for covering these; and a first bearing unit (70) that is provided between the outer surface of the output shaft (2) and the inner surface of a bearing tube (4) provided at one axial end of the housing (3), and that includes a ball bearing having an outer ring (71), an inner ring (72), and balls (73) arranged between the outer ring (71) and the inner ring (72), wherein a line connecting the contact points of the balls (73) and the outer ring (71) and the inner ring (72) is inclined with respect to the radial direction.
