Abstract:
This rotational connector (1) includes a plurality of light-emitting elements (21) disposed on one of a fixed body (8) and a turning body (9) and a light-receiving element (22) disposed on the other, said rotational connector enabling optical communication between the fixed body and the turning body under conditions where turning of the turning body is permitted. The rotational connector (1) is further equipped with an angle determination unit (29) that determines the rotational angle of the turning body (9) and an element selection unit (30) that selects a light-emitting element to be driven from among the plurality of light-emitting elements (21) on the basis of the determination result of the angle determination unit.
