Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a rotational electric machine stator and a rotational electric machine in which the coil ends of in-phase unit coils can be insulated from each other by making use of phase-to-phase insulating paper in a simplified manner, and which can also prevent significant increase in costs resulting from increases in manufacturing labor-hours and material costs.
[Solution] A rotational electric machine stator according to an embodiment includes a stator core; multiple-phase stator coils which are wound around the stator core and each have a plurality of coupled unit coils; and multiple pieces of phase-to-phase insulating paper disposed, at both axial ends of the stator core, between the coil ends of out-of-phase unit coils of the multiple-phase stator coils. An end portion of the phase-to-phase insulating paper is inserted in between the coil ends of the in-phase unit coils.
