Abstract:
A cylindrical rotor core (10) for a dynamo-electric machine is formed by stacking and integrally connecting electrical steel sheets in the axial direction and has formed therein magnet insertion holes (24, 26) into which permanent magnets are inserted. The magnet insertion holes (24, 26) are formed near the outer peripheral surface (11c) of the rotor core (10) so as to extend within the core in the axial direction and open at the ends of the rotor core (10) in the axial direction. Electrical steel sheets including the axially outermost electrical steel sheets, in which the openings are formed, are affixed by welding to the inner wall surfaces (42) of the magnet insertion holes (24, 26).
