Abstract:
This rotor 1 is provided with: a plurality of permanent magnets (4) circumferentially separated from each other around a shaft (2) at equal intervals and arranged axially; a first protective ring (6A) for positioning and holding one axial end of each of the permanent magnets (4); a second protective ring (6) for positioning and holding the other axial end of the each of the permanent magnets (4); and a protective cover (8) for covering the outer peripheral surfaces of the permanent magnets (4), the first protective ring (6A), and the second protective ring (6) and having a radially uniform thickness.
