Abstract:
A rotor (3) is equipped with an iron core (4) having a cylindrical or columnar shape, and a plurality of magnets disposed at equidistant spacing in the circumferential direction with respect to the center axis (C) of the iron core (4) and implanted into the iron core (4). The iron core (4) has a first end surface section (41), a second end surface section (42), and a center section (43) disposed between the first end surface section (41) and the second end surface section (42). In the first end surface section (41), the second end surface section (42), and the center section (43), respectively, there is formed at least one void (7) at a position further away from the center axis (C) of the iron core (4) than the plurality of magnets. A third cross sectional area of the center section (43) is larger than a first cross sectional area of the first end surface section (41) and a second cross sectional area of the second end surface section (42).
